Welcome to Northeast Florida Live Steamers and Railroaders, Inc. — a nonprofit organization dedicated to building something truly incredible for our community:
A 2,000+ foot long, 7.5-inch gauge ride-on railroad nestled in Lake Fretwell Park right in Jacksonville, Florida!
Construction is underway and we couldn’t be more excited. This is a place where families can make memories, children can discover a love of history, and railfans of all ages can experience the authentic sights, sounds, and feel of real locomotive railroading. When that whistle echoes through the trees and the engine rolls down the track, the smiles say it all.
We’re not just building a railroad — we’re building a destination for Northeast Florida.
When can I visit?
Member workdays are most Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Public ride events will be announced as we open! Follow us on social media for the latest schedule updates and special event announcements.
